When Stubbies first opened the doors in 2003, we had a small but loyal group of guests.  One of our most loyal patrons, Rodger, was intrigued with our comparatively wide selection and started writing down his beers on a sheet of paper each evening after work.  A few other guests soon followed suit.  While sitting at the bar, we decided this jolly bunch of guys were our ‘Offenders’ and thus began the ‘Offender Program.’  While it isn’t an easy task to complete an Offender sheet, it is certainly educational and prestigious.  The true goal of this program is to educate guests’ palates about the variety of beers and beer styles from around the world.  With one year to finish 100 beers, that is less than 2 beers per week on average.  Who knew that over the course of 8 years, 6000+ people would sign up for sheets to try to drink 100 different beers in 1 year!  What’s even more incredible is our most faithful guest, Ben, finishing over 40 lists… that’s 4000+ beers!
